April 2005 Archives

Today Google has launched a new line of products. Looks like something I need!

Google Gulp

p.s. Happy April Fools :)

Well it's finally Friday. I woke up today feeling like crap and still don't feel much better. I'm hoping to recover this weekend and be back at full capacity next week. With my cold I got on vacation to misc other stuff I've been dealing with this week I'm definately ready for some R&R time. Call hasn't been bad though, only a couple calls and one of them I had to come in for so I can't complain much about that. It's just this cold has been kicking my butt and I'm hoping that I'm in the last stage now.

I don't have any solid plans this weekend other than putting in a bunch of Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory time. The game is awesome and much better IMHO that either of the previous two Splinter Cell games. It's a lot more open in that you can do objectives multiple ways, pretty much however you want. Want to kill everybody? Go ahead, want to remain silent and hidden? That works too. Multiple paths to objectives etc make it much for fun for me. I'm anxious to try out the Cooperative multiplayer aspect if I can get my sister to visit me this weekend. Don't really feel like going online with some stranger for that.

I imagine I'll be hitting El Rancho tonight, that's what we usually do Friday night around here and I haven't had any Mexican food for almost two weeks now so I'm really craving it. It's a neato place and they know us by name up there :)

I think Tasha is feeling better too. She threw up yesterday a little and the previous day was acting a little strange but she then ate a lot and has been drinking her water more so she must be feeling well again. That's always good in my book.

It's strange, the game I've been playing the most on the PSP has been Untold Legends, the game that most people seem to not care for very much but I've been enjoying it and I guess that's what matters. It's basically an overhead hack n slash like Diablo or Baldur's Gate on the Xbox. It keeps me occupied when I've had enough Splinter Cell :)

OK, the computer I've been waiting on is ready for some interaction so I better go.

I finally got around to taking some quick snapshots of my new Sony PSP. They aren't the best, the lighting in my house sucks and no pictures can do the screen any justice on this machine. It's truly amazing and must be seen to be believed. Click the photo to view them all.
